Professional careers

Canine Behaviourist, Trainer & Groomer

Unregulated professions in the UK — so the accrediting body behind a qualification matters.

Behaviourist
Look for ABTC-recognised Clinical Animal Behaviourist routes, often degree-level.
Trainer (e.g. CPDT)
CCPDT's CPDT-KA exam, or ABTC-recognised Animal Training Instructor routes.
Groomer
City & Guilds dog grooming qualifications are a widely recognised route.
