UK Microchip Lookup
UK microchips are 15-digit numbers. Enter the number to be redirected to the official Check-A-Chip service, which tells you which Defra-approved database holds the owner's details.
The law: dogs must be microchipped by 8 weeks old (UK-wide). In England, cats must be microchipped by 20 weeks old.
Found a stray? Take the pet to any vet or rescue — they can scan and access the chip details for free.
