PawHub knowledge articles are written by experienced pet owners, not by vets, and drafted from the published guidance of the UK and international bodies listed below. They are educational, not veterinary advice. Health and safety articles carry no advertising — ever.

How we research articles
- Outline against the reader's likely question.
- Draft from published guidance — regulators, charities, professional bodies and government pages from the list below.
- Link the source where an article states a specific legal figure, deadline, dose or clinical threshold, so you can check it yourself.
- UK-specific review — laws and services referenced are checked for England, Scotland, Wales and (where stated) Northern Ireland.
- Conflict of interest — health and safety pages carry no ads, sponsorships or affiliate links of any kind.
What we do not claim
- No article is peer-reviewed or signed off by a veterinary surgeon today. If we ever add clinical review, it will be named on the article itself.
- We do not claim a fixed source count per article. Coverage varies by topic, and older articles are still being brought up to this standard.
- Where we cannot verify something, we say so or leave it out rather than presenting an estimate as fact.

Languages
Knowledge content launches in English (UK) first. Phase 2 (Autumn 2026): French, Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch. Phase 3 (2027): Polish, Hebrew, Arabic, Portuguese. Translations are reviewed by a native speaker who also reviews the source material for regional accuracy — we don't auto-translate medical content.
